Coulomb's Law

Two electric charges Q and q' attract or repulse each other with a force which is proportional to each of the charges Q and q', with a direction following the straight line linking the two charges and inversely proportional to the square of their distance apart r.

Formula

\overrightarrow F_{q'}=\frac{1}{4 \pi \epsilon_0} \frac{Q.q'}{r^2} \vec u with \epsilon_0=\frac{1}{36 . \pi .10^9}~\mathrm{F.m}^{-1}
